Duties/Responsibilities:
* Set and implement standard operating procedures and the service standards of the store.
* Manage the pre-assigned staff for both front and back of house and ensure that the brand standards are achieved.
* Manage, motivate, recruit, train, and develop staff according to company policies and employment laws.
* Manage card payment systems in accordance with company-defined procedures and policies, prioritizing staff and customer safety at all times.
* Maintain the effectiveness of IT and other essential in-store systems, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
* Oversee daily stock management of all food and beverage items, ensuring correct checking, storage, and data entry of food deliveries.
* Manage health & safety, security, and emergency systems, along with staff and customer awareness programs, in accordance with company policies and relevant laws.
* Develop personal skills and capabilities through ongoing training provided by the company or approved training providers.
Our ideal Shift Manager will:
* Have experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, high-volume retail food service environment at manager or assistant manager level.
* Have the desire to progress to an Area Manager role.
