The Role Maths Teacher
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver a sequenced mathematics curriculum across KS3 and KS4
Secure strong subject knowledge and mathematical fluency
Check understanding and address misconceptions
Adapt teaching for pupils with SEND and those new to English
Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
Contribute to curriculum development within the mathematics department
The Ideal Maths Teacher Will Have:
QTS and a strong academic background in mathematics
Experience teaching mathematics at KS3 and KS4
High expectations for achievement and conduct
Confidence using assessment to inform teaching
Commitment to inclusion and equal access
Clear communication and strong classroom presence
