Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to partner with a leading European manufacturer of cabling products for this new Northern BDM role. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting phase of growth for the business.
The ideal candidate will have some understanding of cabling products and experience managing key relationships with Electrical Wholesalers and Distributors, as well as working with architects and contractors to get products specified.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Identify new business opportunities and build client relationships with Wholesalers & Distributors in the North & Scotland.
* Proactively seek new routes to market via wholesale, distribution, specification, and developing end-user relationships, growing brand awareness and market share in the Northern Region.
* Develop markets for each of the company's brands and applications.
* Attend electrical events to raise product awareness and network with current and prospective customers.
* Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers.
Skills & Experience:
* Understanding of cabling products and experience managing relationships with Electrical Wholesalers and Distributors, working with architects and contractors.
* Hunters mentality with a strong focus on new business development.
* Forward-thinking and entrepreneurial, with the ability to see the 'bigger picture' in terms of career development.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
