Nursery Assistant – Full Time – Hexham

We are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a beautiful nursery setting in Northumberland on a full-time basis with an ASAP start.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a warm, welcoming nursery that follows a Scandinavian-inspired approach to early years education, encouraging outdoor play, curiosity, independence and child-led learning.

The nursery cares for children aged 0–5 years and is looking for someone passionate about supporting children in their early development within a nurturing environment.

The Role

1. Full-time Nursery Assistant
2. Immediate start available
3. Working with children aged 0–5
4. Supporting learning through play and exploration
5. Creating a safe, engaging, and caring environment
6. Encouraging outdoor learning and child independence

The Ideal Candidate

7. Ideally hold a relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
8. Applications also welcome from candidates with recent, relevant childcare experience
9. Passionate about early years education
10. Warm, reliable and proactive
11. Strong communication and teamwork skills
