Personal Injury Solicitor – Leeds
I'm currently working with a well-established legal services organisation that is looking to appoint an experienced and senior level Personal Injury Fee Earner into its Intermediate Track Team. This is a dual-capacity role, combining hands-on case management with a technical leadership and mentoring remit and would suit a Solicitor or CILEX-qualified Lawyer who enjoys complex litigation work and supporting the development of others.
The Role
This position offers a balance of fee-earning responsibility alongside a more strategic, technical contribution to the wider team. You will be trusted to manage your own caseload while acting as a go-to technical resource across the post-litigation process.
Key aspects of the role include:
* Managing a portfolio of Intermediate Track litigated cases, ensuring matters progress efficiently and in line with client and business objectives
* Providing technical guidance, supervision and mentoring to colleagues across the team
* Drafting high-quality legal documentation, including pleadings, interlocutory applications and supporting statements
* Advising on complex litigation issues, procedural strategy and risk
* Supporting team development through knowledge sharing and training delivery
* Ensuring compliance with professional standards, regulatory obligations and internal frameworks
* Working collaboratively with management to improve processes and enhance client outcomes
Experience & Skills:
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
* Strong experience managing a personal caseload
* Excellent drafting skills across pleadings, applications and supporting documents
* Comfortable working to performance targets and KPIs
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to provide clear, practical advice
* Commercially aware with strong problem-solving capability
* A collaborative approach and genuine interest in team success
* An interest in emerging technologies such as AI would be advantageous (but not essential)
