MOT Tester / Vehicle Inspector
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 basic + overtime at time and a half. Monday–Friday only, no weekends.

Responsibilities
* Conduct DVSA‑compliant Class 4 MOT tests efficiently, accurately and to the highest standards of safety and integrity.
* Perform comprehensive vehicle health checks and diagnose MOT‑failing defects.
* Accurately log test data onto the DVSA system and explain required repairs to the service team.
* Assist the workshop with light mechanical repairs, servicing or MOT prep work when bays are quiet.
* Prioritise quality over speed in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
* Valid, current DVSA MOT Testing Licence (Class 4 minimum).
* Proven track record working as an MOT Tester or Technician/Tester in a professional garage.
* Reliable, honest professional with high standards of compliance and a team‑player attitude.
* Based within a comfortable commute of Haywards Heath – UK driving licence required.
