The Post
The College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking College Administrator (eLearning) to be responsible for the administration of eLearning platforms and Information Learning Technology within the College.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake the administrative role for SharePoint, Teams and eStream in conjunction with internal IT support and external support companies such as CloudDesignBox and Planet eStream for training and solutions to issues. You will support Heads of Department, Course Leaders, and Central Services in designing and structuring their SharePoint sites and class Teams and will assist them in uploading their learning resources onto SharePoint and Teams, ensuring they provide effective learning opportunities for students. You will facilitate the loaning of equipment and support the AI Coordinator with the development of AI initiatives across the College. You will provide staff with training and support in how to use College systems, especially SharePoint, Teams and eStream.
The post requires excellent organisational, verbal and written skills, along with effective people skills and the ability to establish a rapport with a range of client groups. There is an expectation for some occasional mandatory evening activities, including Open Evenings, for which time off in lieu will be given.
The post is available immediately on a permanent, part-time, term-time only basis. The hours of work are either 9.30am to 2.00pm, or 10.00am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only (with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day %).
There are numerous optional opportunities for evening work (Interview Evenings for Students) should the post holder be interested in them for additional remuneration.
The Department
The successful applicant will work directly for the Associate Principal (Systems and Support) and will be located in the Priory Building.
