2. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions
3. Support the pupil’s academic progress, emotional regulation, and social development
4. Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
5. Help create a calm, structured, and positive learning environment
This role requires someone who can build a strong, trusting relationship and provide both academic and pastoral support. About the PupilThe pupil is engaging and eager to learn but requires additional support with:
6. Focus and attention in the classroom
7. Emotional regulation
8. Accessing the KS2 curriculum
Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs would be highly beneficial. What We’re Looking ForWe are seeking a Teaching Assistant who:
9. Has previous experience supporting SEN pupils, ideally in KS2
10. Is patient, resilient, and nurturing
11. Can confidently manage behaviour in a calm and positive way
12. Builds strong relationships with pupils and staff
13. Is proactive and willing to take initiative
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate. Why This School?
