Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote (anywhere in UK)

What You Will Do:
* Design and implement scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions in AWS.
* Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline, or similar.
* Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
* Monitor, log, and troubleshoot distributed systems using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
* Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles and improve deployment quality.
* Implement and advocate for DevSecOps best practices, ensuring compliance and security throughout the SDLC.
* Maintain and optimize Kubernetes/ECS container platforms and associated service mesh and ingress architectures.
* Manage versioned deployments and blue-green/Canary strategies to support zero-downtime rollouts.
* Participate in incident response and post-mortems, implementing lessons learned into system reliability.
Skills and Experience You Will Need:
Required:
* 5+ years of hands-on DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
* Deep expertise in AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, EKS/ECS, RDS, CloudFront, IAM, and VPC.
* Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go) and proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Experience with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD).
* Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and Agile methodologies.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Desired:
* Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
* AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional).
