Position: Care Home Manager – Faversham, Kent
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
My client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Care Home Manager to lead the team at their well-established, medium-sized care home located near Faversham, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and driven individual with a strong background in elderly care and a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained. You will lead, inspire and support the team to achieve and sustain Good or Outstanding ratings with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide effective leadership and management across all aspects of the care home
2. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and standards
3. Drive continuous improvement and person-centred care practices
4. Manage budgets and staffing levels effectively
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
1. A minimum of NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
2. Registered Manager experience in a similar care setting
3. A proven track record of achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
4. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices in care
5. Demonstrable experience in turning care homes around and improving quality of care
6. Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
