The Role – Intermediate Quantity Surveyor As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role within the commercial team, supporting the successful financial delivery of construction projects from pre construction through to final account. You will work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with programme requirements. This role offers strong exposure across all aspects of quantity surveying, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to progress their career with a busy and respected contractor in Kerry. Key Responsibilities: • Assisting with cost management and commercial reporting across multiple construction projects • Preparing subcontractor packages, procurement schedules, and tender analysis • Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, and variations • Monitoring project costs and assisting with monthly cost reporting • Supporting the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts • Liaising with site management teams to track progress and commercial performance • Assisting with contract administration and document control • Identifying cost saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards • Ensuring compliance with contractual and financial procedures About You: • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics • 2 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Junior Quantity Surveyor role with a main contractor or developer • Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost management • Experience working on residential, commercial, or mixed use construction projects • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Strong attention to detail with good commercial awareness • Proficient with Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software • Ambitious, motivated, and eager to progress within a growing construction company What’s on Offer Salary: €50,000 to €60,000 DOE Benefits: • Pension contribution • Ongoing professional development and mentoring • Long term career progression opportunities • Exposure to a variety of construction projects • Supportive and collaborative working environment • Stable pipeline of work in Kerry and Munster Why Apply?
