Where and when do we need you?
We are looking for a confident and engaging individual to join our dedicated talent acquisition team. As part of this team, you will play a key part in ensuring that we attract, engage and employ the best and most passionate people to join our workforce. You will be a clear and confident communicator with the ability to effectively manage sensitive subject matters when required. You will passionately believe in Fair Ways and our vision and values in order to convey these effectively to applicants. You will be supported in this role by an experienced team and will be encouraged to learn, grow, and develop utilising our fantastic in-house training department.
In this role you will be involved exciting and rewarding things like:
Managing the full internal recruitment cycle - To oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for the charity ensuring that Fair Ways services are supported with all recruitment requirements in line with safer recruitment guidelines.
Account Management - To take a proactive lead in attending required staffing and compliance meetings with the Talent Acquisition Partner and relevant working groups, working closely with key stakeholders both internally and externally. To arrange and attend regular reviews with Fair Ways service managers in order to support and advise with succession planning and talent management ensuring that the recruitment requirements of the charity are supported and informed at all times.
Keeping Children, Families and Vulnerable Adults Safe - To ensure that all recruitment activity is undertaken with a high level of detail, adhering to the Safer Recruitment guidelines as outlined by the organisation ensuring a safe and compliant workforce.
Being part of a passionate and supportive team - To support the wider recruitment function with additional tasks such as rotational inbox management, responding to recruitment queries and supporting with compliance for any onboarding staff ensuring that the skills within the function remain balanced and that appropriate cover can be provided when required to maintain a robust and informed recruitment function and compliance support for the charity.
Event Management, Advertising and Marketing - To work with the Marketing function to plan, prepare for and attend recruitment fairs, events and organise and design recruitment campaigns as required to support the changing recruitment needs of the charity. responsible for all advertising for the charity ensure that Fair Ways are consistently receiving a high volume of good calibre candidates and growing a diverse and skilled workforce.
Reporting and Data analysis - To collate, analyse and produce monthly reports for the Talent Acquisition manager using relevant systems and processes to reflect current progress, strategies and highlight areas of concern.
The successful candidate will be working 37.5 hours per week with a minimum of 1 day per week based at our central support office in Portsmouth.
All candidates must have a full driving license and have access to the use of a car. Successful candidates will be required to provide an enhanced Disclosure (DBS). This disclosure cost will be met by Fair Ways.

Previous experience in a consultative recruitment role with proven experience in building long lasting and valued relationships with hiring managers.
In depth and up to date knowledge of safer recruitment principles and legislation
A level 3 qualification in recruitment practice would be advantageous.
