We're looking for a talented Digital Content and Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter with a proven track record of producing engaging digital content and effectively managing distribution across key online platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation
* Develop and execute a content calendar for our blog, maintaining a consistent and strategic publishing schedule.
* Write, edit, and upload blog posts to our WordPress site with attention to tone, clarity, and SEO.
Website Management
* Manage and update our WordPress website, ensuring all blog content is well-formatted and visually appealing.
* Optimize on-site content using the Yoast SEO plugin to improve search engine rankings.
Social Media Management
* Craft and schedule engaging social media content to promote blog posts and brand messaging on LinkedIn and Facebook.
* Monitor social media channels for engagement, trends, and audience feedback.
* Analyze performance metrics to refine social strategies and maximize reach.
Team Collaboration
* Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with broader marketing goals and campaigns.
* Stay up-to-date with digital trends and best practices to keep our content strategy fresh and effective.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a digital content or social media role.
* Proficiency in WordPress and hands-on experience managing site content.
* Strong command of Yoast SEO for optimizing blog content.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a brand's social media presence on LinkedIn and Facebook.
* Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
* Highly organized and able to work independently and collaboratively.
