Schools Football Coach Hours: Part-time after-school sessions Monday, Wednesday & Thursday - opportunities for extra sessions may be available Pay: £15 per hour Location: School-based role in central Cambridge Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality football sessions for primary school after-school clubs Create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all participants Encourage skill development, teamwork, and a love of the game Manage groups effectively and ensure sessions are well structured and age appropriate Represent Norwich City Football Development in a positive and professional manner About You Experience working within football, school, or childcare settings (essential) Confident working with primary school-aged children Enthusiastic, punctual, and reliable DBS check desirable (or willingness to obtain one) Requirements Essential: First Aid qualification Basic Safeguarding qualification Relevant coaching qualification Knowledge of how young people learn and develop Understanding of the PE national curriculum and sports development Experience working with young people in a sports environment Ability to effectively and safely manage different groups Preferred: Full driving licence and access to a vehicle Minimum 1 year of sports coaching experience For more information, please contact James.Atherton@canaries.co.uk
