This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant who is currently studying (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) and looking to develop their commercial skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Market rate salary Study Support Career progression in a growing organisation Brand new office space with hybrid working options A collaborative and supportive finance team About You Youll be working towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) and will bring: Previous experience in a finance or accounting role (practice or industry) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in business operations Your Responsibilities Always: Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, and board reports Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and internal controls Support tax compliance across NI and ROI (e.g. VAT, CIS, RCT) Monitor project costs and subcontractor accounts Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations Often: Work closely with the Head of Finance on commercial analysis and decision-making Help prepare for audits and compile supporting documentation Contribute to continuous improvements across financial processes and systems Assist with financial planning and forecasting activities Occasionally: Provide backup support for payroll and other general accounting tasks Take on additional reporting or project-based tasks as required Cover for more senior finance staff when needed Never: Be left behind, you'll be fully supported in your studies and career development Juggle fire torches blindfolded Interested?
