Your Role

As Operational Lead for Mosaic, you will provide operational and clinical leadership for Stockport Council’s drug and alcohol service for children, young people and families. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective and high quality service delivery across treatment, school based, family and outreach pathways. The role includes acting as the CQC Registered Person, holding accountability for regulatory compliance, quality assurance and continuous improvement. You will line manage team managers, lead performance and outcomes monitoring (including statutory reporting), and work closely with services across Stockport Family, and with partners to support integrated, neighbourhood based delivery.


About You

You will be an experienced leader with a strong background in delivering or overseeing drug and alcohol services for children, young people and families. You will bring credible clinical or professional expertise, a clear understanding of safeguarding and clinical governance, and experience of managing quality, performance and risk within complex services. You will be confident working in multi agency environments, able to lead teams through change and maintain a clear focus on outcomes. You will share our values, demonstrate a restorative and collaborative approach, and be ready to take on the responsibilities of a CQC Registered Person.

Mosaic is Stockport’s specialist drug and alcohol service for children, young people under 26, and families affected by substance use. Working as part of Stockport Family, Mosaic delivers trauma informed, evidence based support through integrated treatment, school based and family teams. The service plays a key role in Stockport’s early help and safeguarding system, working closely with health, education, social care and youth justice partners. Mosaic is a CQC registered service, rated Good overall with Outstanding for Caring, and offers the opportunity to lead a well established service that makes a real difference to children and families across the borough.
