Job Description
Were seeking an experienced and resilient General Practitioner to deliver high-quality primary care services within a Category B prison on the South Coast. This role offers a rare opportunity to work in a complex and highly rewarding clinical environment where your impact will be immediate and significant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide holistic, patient-centred care to a diverse prison population
* Conduct clinics including chronic disease management, acute care, and health screening
* Work collaboratively with mental health, substance misuse, and nursing teams
* Participate in MDTs and contribute to continuity of care and risk management
* Support education, safeguarding, and health promotion initiatives within the prison
About You:
* GMC registered with a license to practise
* MRCGP or equivalent
* Experience in secure environments, urgent care, or complex needs (desirable but not essential)
