Mechanical Engineer Full-time (Day Shift) | Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times; on-call rota We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team as they go through a period of growth. You will be responsible for developing, and maintaining manufacturing processes and equipment to enhance production efficiency and product quality. The Role: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve engineering challenges. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues. Optimise manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Develop and maintain documentation, including specifications, design calculations, and reports. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment. Participate in the implementation of new technologies and equipment. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Provide technical support and guidance to production staff. Participate in on-call rota for troubleshooting and emergency response. Qualifications: Educated in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proficient in maintenance of heavy machinery and production equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to mentor Junior Engineers. Willingness to grow and develop skills. Open to an on call rota system.
