About the Role

We are looking for a Compliance & Reporting Specialist to join our team at our Head Office just outside of York. In this role, you'll combine data analysis, problem solving, and regulatory knowledge to keep our products, packaging and retail activity compliant. You'll manage reporting on waste, packaging, and energy usage, supporting our legal compliance with regulatory schemes and also monitoring our impact on the planet. You will support our intellectual property portfolio, and take a proactive role in ensuring our products are compliance-ready for new market launches. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with some experience in compliance within e-commerce or retail who is ready to develop into a specialist role.

Key responsibilities and tasks:

* Managing the applications and renewals of trademarks and design rights to protect our brands intellectual property.
* Act as the main point of contact for intellectual property and compliance enquiries from external parties.
* Helping to oversee compliance with EU Waste, WEEE, and Packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations.
* Preparing registrations, submissions, and reports for packaging and waste requirements.
* Keeping track of new and upcoming compliance changes in the UK and EU.
* Play a proactive role in launches across new markets, ensuring both product and selling requirements are compliant before going live.
* Supporting the creation and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and reporting.

Skills We Love:

* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Confidence to be proactive and follow through on compliance requirements.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* An interest in sustainability, compliance, and protecting brand integrity.
* Some knowledge or prior experience of compliance, environmental regulations, or intellectual property would be extremely beneficial.
* Experience with data reporting and analysis, including strong Excel skills.

Working Hours:

* Full time, Monday–Friday (37.5 hours per week), with flexible start/finish times between 8am - 5.30pm.
* You will be based at ourHead Offices just outside York (YO60 6PG) 5 days a week.
