About the role
The main purpose of this position is to conduct research on C. elegans biogerodemography. It will involve mainly experimental analysis of C. elegans populations during ageing, statistical analysis of data, and manuscript preparation.
This is an internal recruitment advert, available to eligible UCL workers only and this is a fixed-term role available until 30th September .

About you
You must have a in biological sciences, and proven knowledge of and extensive laboratory experience with C. elegans ageing studies, and specifically the methodology of biogerodemography in this and other organisms, including the use of trait deconvolution protocols; this is essential.
Experience with use of auxin-induced degradation and RNA-mediated interference in C. elegans is also essential.
