Overall Purpose:
The European CLO primary and loan fund financing team is part of the bank's SPG. The group has an extensive experience and track record in arranging and placing structured credit products with members in Europe, North-America and Asia, and includes a global syndication team to coordinate the bank’s salesforce.
Within the group, the CLO team specialises in arranging primary CLO transactions and financing private debt platforms. The role will focus on both origination and deal structuring/execution.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead all aspects of CLO execution: Legal documentation review, cashflow modelling, managing interaction with rating agencies, external law firms and internal stakeholders.
* Participate in the marketing of CLO transactions by organizing investor roadshows, leading investor meetings and negotiating documentation steps.
* Contribute to the origination efforts by building and managing long term relationships with CLO managers and investors together with other team members, senior bankers, and sales.
* Represent the business in roadshows and conferences.
* Contribute to sourcing, arranging and syndicating senior financing facilities backed by private debt or broadly syndicated loans.
* Term sheets, presentations, models and other materials required for the preparation and execution of transactions.
* Cash flow models.
* Reports on specific securitisation topics.
* Reports to management
Responsible for reviewing:
* Transaction documents, rating agency reports
* Cash flow models
* Trustee reports for current warehouse opened by SPG
Job Requirements:
* Working practice in a structuring role or equivalent
* Strong knowledge of Structured Credit and CLOs in particular
* Strong modelling and technical knowledge
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong Excel, VBA, Intex and Bloomberg skills
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
