As a Senior Care Worker, you’ll lead by example — supporting your team, coordinating day-to-day operations, and ensuring that every person we care for is treated with dignity, compassion and kindness.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading and supporting a team of Care Workers, including supervision and appraisal
* Helping to shape a positive, inclusive and person-centred culture
* Creating and updating care plans in partnership with individuals and families
* Overseeing medication procedures and audits
* Assisting with rota planning and stepping in to provide management cover as needed
* Supporting training, recruitment and quality improvement across the service
* Acting as a key worker, building strong relationships with the people you support
* Helping us reflect our Christian ethos in daily practice, including participation in prayer and worship
What you’ll bring:
* SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
* Willingness to work towards SVQ Level 4, PDA in Supervision, PDA in Medication and Assessor Awards
* Experience in a care setting, with the ability to support and guide others
* A calm, confident and compassionate approach, especially under pressure
* A genuine passion for supporting older people to live with dignity and purpose
* Basic IT skills (email, record-keeping, etc.)
A Christian faith and the ability to reflect this through your work – this is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010

As we do our work in Christ’s name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
