Installation Manager - Mechanical Division
Global Fire and Security Systems is an independent company established in Nottingham since 1999, earning a reputation as a market leader in fire safety, fire suppression and security systems nationwide.
We are seeking an Installation Manager for the Mechanical Installs Team based at Canary Wharf or Nottingham NG2, responsible for organising nationwide installation of fire suppression systems in schools, pubs and hotels. The role involves site visits and a company car will be provided. Full Time On Site - £DOE /bonus/company Car
Job Purpose
The role will involve organising the installation of fire suppression systems nationwide. Responsibilities will include managing a small team of engineers and subcontractors.
Key Accountabilities
* Provide exceptional customer service, managing and maintaining client relationships, including attending client meetings, and responding promptly to customer enquiries and concerns.
* Full ownership of allocated projects, ensuring all works, site activity, audits and paperwork is carried out to the relevant standards, manufacturer guidelines and company requirements.
* Monitoring of all engineers, subcontractors and staff used, inclusive of labour requirements, paperwork, invoices, site activity and productivity.
* Production of all reports, including weekly project status, invoicing and profit and loss reports for own projects.
* Provide technical assistance, support and guidance to engineers, subcontractors and department team members and communicate and coordinate with internal personnel.
* Administration duties of all ongoing and completed projects, including ordering of equipment and plant, with the assistance of the project administration team.
About You
* Demonstrable technical expertise with Kitchen Fire Suppression systems / fire industry.
* Demonstrable experience in project management.
* Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
