We’re hiring for Support Workers in South Gloucestershire We’re hiring for a support worker in our Young People Community Support service in South Glos area. Do you enjoy working with children and young adults? We’re looking for outgoing, active and dynamic individuals with a can-do attitude and a desire to help someone live a full life! As a young people support worker, you’ll be flexible to support across a week. This can include weekends, support after school and in the school holidays. Lots of fun and engaging activities are planned for the people we support such as gym, sporting activites and clubs. The support you provide will be centred around each person’s values, preferences and needs which could include taking someone for a sports lesson or help parents during the school holidays. You may need to support with personal care and medication needs. A full clean UK driving License and use of your own car is essential to take young people out to activities. Support the people we support to access their communities for socialising, employment, training or friendships To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals care plans. To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals. Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support Brandon Trust work alongside people of different ability so they are able to create opportunity and feel empowered to live the life they want. All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service. Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.
