Learning Support Assistants – Part Time
Location: Liverpool (L10)
Full Time and Part Time Available
The Role
As a General Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers in KS2 to provide consistent, compassionate support throughout the school day. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child is supported to thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
2. Assist with sensory integration, communication needs, and emotional regulation
3. Implement structured routines and behaviour support strategies
4. Foster pupil independence, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
5. Work collaboratively with teachers and other Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)
What We’re Looking For
6. Experience supporting children with Autism and/or PMLD (school or care settings)
7. A calm, patient, and proactive approach
8. A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a positive difference
