Axcis Education are closely supporting a primary school in the Barnstable region, who are looking for a teaching assistant to support students with SEND needs on a 1:1 basis and whole class basis. This would be to start as soon as possible - on a full time basis (Monday to Friday) working 8.30-3.30 with a half an hour unpaid lunch. For this position the rate of pay is £90 a day. The school is a lovely community primary school which has an exciting curriculum for students. The school have a real emphasis on outdoor learning and maximise the opportunities to make the most of the local area. The school are looking for a full time TA with a passion for supporting students with SEND. The school are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable and calm under pressure, as there will be times when students may dysregulate and you will be expected to respond appropriately to offer support.
