We are seeking a talented Chef to join our dynamic team at our very popular neighborhood brunch spot in Radyr.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, and ideally a background in kitchen operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced environment.
The successful applicant will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Hours
Our place is open 7 days a week, from 8.30am til 4pm
Usual shifts are 7.30am til 4.30pm
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Practice good food safety and ensure compliance with health regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times
Assist in menu planning, development, and innovation to enhance customer experience
Skills
Proven experience within a professional kitchen setting
Food production and preparation skills with a focus on quality and presentation
Strong team ethics
Good knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
Excellent cooking techniques across various cuisines and styles
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience demonstrating adaptability under pressure
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of service
