About the Role:
We are looking for friendly, reliable, and compassionate individuals to join our team as Homecare Support Workers, focusing on lifestyle and practical support. This is not a traditional personal care role. Instead, you will help people make everyday life easier, safer, and more enjoyable—supporting them to stay independent and continue living well in their own homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide home cleaning and general housekeeping support
* Assist with shopping, errands, and everyday tasks
* Offer companionship through regular social visits and conversation
* Support clients with transport to appointments, activities, and outings
* Assist with basic home support, including light gardening tasks
* Promote personal wellbeing through friendly engagement and encouragement
* Help clients stay connected to their local community and maintain independence
Requirements:
* A caring, positive, and dependable nature
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Flexible approach to working hours
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential if applicable)
* Previous experience in support, customer service, or similar roles is beneficial but not essential
