About us

Waythrough (formerly Humankind) launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down barriers preventing people from accessing support to live a valued life. We address poverty and disadvantage through mental health, drug and alcohol support, housing, and related services.

We operate nearly 200 services across England, supported by around 3,500 staff and volunteers, helping approximately 125,000 people annually.

As we integrate two large organizations, some systems and processes are still branded under Humankind. Full integration of recruitment systems is planned for next year.
