About you
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join
one of our busy food and beverage teams across Unity Holidays.
As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to
support the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to lead the team and
deliver consistently high-quality food for our Owners, Guests and Team Members.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll showcase your culinary
skills, support and mentor junior members of the team, and help maintain high
standards of quality, presentation, safety and service.
We are also looking for:
* Proven
experience in a professional kitchen, ideally with leadership or
supervisory experience
* A
passion for food and an eye for detail
* Strong
organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced
environment
* A
team player with excellent communication skills
* A
commitment to supporting, training and developing others
Key Responsibilities
* Assist
the Head Chef with the smooth running of the kitchen
* Support,
supervise and motivate the kitchen team
* Deliver
consistent, high-quality dishes in line with agreed standards
* Ensure
compliance with food hygiene, safety and allergen procedures
* Support
stock control, ordering and minimising waste
* Maintain
a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
* Take
responsibility for the kitchen in the Kitchen Manager’s absence
* Support
the wider food and beverage operation as required
Hours of Work
Weekend and evening availability will be essential.
