Job Description
AECOM’s Manchester office requires an Infrastructure Associate Director to undertake project management and drive various civil infrastructure-related commercial and residential development projects to help develop the Company ’s business.
Responsibilities
* You will serve as lead engineer on mid-to-large sized projects and be able to lead a team of 5–10 engineers and technicians to program workloads and successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Provide specialised technical input to studies and designs for staff’s specific area of expertise.
* Provide technical expertise and present complex technical solutions to clients.
* You will need to perform quality control reviews of work developed by others.
* Provide estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.

Qualifications
* Significant experience in UK development‑related infrastructure engineering; likely from a private/consultancy background.
* Civil Engineering degree or similar. Chartered Engineer status (MICE).
* Detailed knowledge of drainage design, including piped systems and SuDS‑based systems; familiarity with storage design and computer programmes such as InfoDrainage.
* Experience preparing Contract Drawings and Specifications and negotiating Section 38, 278, 104, and 106 Agreements.
