SEN Learning Support Assistant - KS2 1:1 Support
Brighton
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support within KS2, working closely alongside the SENCO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a school environment.
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
* Ability to provide 2 years of references
* Experience working with children in the UK
* SEN support experience desirable
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with SEN needs
* Work collaboratively with the SENCO, teachers, and SLT
* Support learning, emotional wellbeing, and classroom engagement
* Help implement individual support strategies and interventions
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
