We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care Team at HMP Risley, a category C Prison located in Warrington. As a Primary Care Clinical Lead, you will be looking after a team of 5 team leaders within the primary care settings, ideally with Substance Misuse experience or willing to learn and develop skills within substance misuse.

HMP Risley is a male prison with a population of 1000. Interviews will be held on Thursday, 23rd October. The site offers:

Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm.

As a Primary Care Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will include:

* Providing clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams.
* Deputising on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required.
* Working closely with partners to maintain a robust, high-quality clinical service for patients.
* Ensuring that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.
* Modelling a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication, and competence.
* Coaching, line managing, and developing clinician staff; supporting and contributing to audits and governance; and contributing to developing and reviewing clinical/non-clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site.
* Chairing and facilitating specific healthcare meetings with the team and different partners, providing clinical supervision (training available), and carrying out investigations locally and for the wider region.

We are looking for caring, compassionate, and driven professionals who can help us drive our vision for fair and inclusive healthcare access to all.

Requirements include:

* Registered Nurse Adult Current professional qualification (NMC)
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
* Excellent communication skills
* Existing line management experience and student nurse mentorship

This position is full-time, with an annual salary between £51,643 - £58,012 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
