Overview
Tool Hire Customer Apprentice at Travis Perkins plc (Keyline, Bristol). Joining our family as an Apprentice, you’ll help customers find the tools they need and arrange a hiring contract. It could be anything from earth-movers to drills, but safety will always be your priority. With your support and fantastic service, you’ll have customers singing our praises.

Responsibilities
* Help customers find the tools they need and explain hiring options.
* Arrange hiring contracts and ensure safety is a priority in all interactions.
* Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive branch experience.
* Support team with daily tasks and learn the tools, products, and services we hire.
Hours and Salary
Hours of work: Our branches are open Monday - Friday from 7.30am to 5.00pm. You will work 42.5 hours per week on a shift pattern and will be required to work every other Saturday morning.
Salary: £Competitive + 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, colleague bonus, life assurance, sharesave scheme and group-wide colleague discounts across the Travis Perkins Group (including Toolstation). Online discounts at leading retailers are also available.
How we will support you
You’ll be supported in your development from day one. You’ll join our Certificate in Tool Hire Programme, a 12-month Apprenticeship that will equip you with the tools to be successful in your role. During the apprenticeship you’ll explore:
* Our safety culture within branch
* How to service and maintain our tools
* The products we hire and the services we provide
Apprenticeships are designed to fit study time into your working week so you can achieve your qualification without affecting your work-life balance. You’ll receive 1:1 coaching, mentoring, and technical and skills training to enable progression. There are further apprenticeship opportunities to continue developing toward leadership roles within the Group.
