Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. We work in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are seeking flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals eager to work in a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided.
The role involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs in residential or independent living environments. The goal is to create an environment that caters to the young person’s intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will be working with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, confidence, patience, and skill are essential to work successfully with these young people and positively impact their lives.
Responsibilities include supporting young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, and support young people in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will be required to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations such as family contacts, school, and social activities.
Please note that you will need to complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully finish one of our induction programs before placements are offered.

Main duties and responsibilities:

7. Protect service users from abuse from staff, visitors, or other service users
8. Write accurate reports and maintain records for monitoring
9. Attend all required training and achieve relevant qualifications
10. Attend work reliably and punctually, following set shift patterns
11. Stay updated on procedures and policy changes
12. Ensure health and safety of yourself and others
13. Perform any additional relevant duties as needed
