Legal Counsel (Construction), London

The company is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel with expertise in non-contentious matters to join their London office and UK operations.
Your Role
As a qualified or experienced Legal Counsel who has worked on UK NEC and ideally JCT projects, you will have experience on tunnelling, water, build, and natural resource infrastructure contracts. You will be adept at drafting and negotiating contracts, managing contracts, handling claims, and resolving disputes. You will also be responsible for contractual risk mitigation and will ideally have worked on bids and tenders in the UK construction market. You will work closely with the construction team and report to the Director of Legal for Europe.
Career progression, including management responsibility, is a possibility given the expected growth of the group and its projects.

* Strong knowledge of contracts and risk management.
* Minimum of 8 years PQE.
* Driven to bring value and add value to the legal and contract management department.
* Passionate about providing strategic advice beyond the contractual problem in front of you.
* Committed and enjoys following plans from idea through to finish.
* Thrives in a challenging and changing environment with international partnerships.
* Master English in writing and high‑level speech.
* Strong collaborative mindset both internally and externally.
