About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead Design and Technology within the DTVA faculty. The Head of Design and Technology will be an experienced and passionate educator who develops the design thinking and practical skills of students, with a curriculum that is contemporary and responsive to a changing world of design and manufacturing. The role includes providing strategic direction, supporting pedagogical development within the team, and championing high standards of teaching and learning to influence students’ learning experiences.

Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the Design and Technology curriculum for KS4 and KS5
* Provide strategic direction and support pedagogical development within the team
* Champion high standards of teaching and learning and drive student outcomes
* Collaborate with colleagues across the Spencer Academies Trust to share best practice
