To be considered for this role you will need be able to work on site in Cowes, Isle of Wight. What will you be doing? Responsibilities As General Manager you will be reporting directly to the Divisional Managing Director for Asset Reliability and will oversee the entire Manufacturing site on Cowes. This includes responsibilities such as: Ensuring all operational employees within the Production and Equipment sub-division conduct their daily tasks safely and professionally and to the complete satisfaction of our customers. Providing day to day leadership and operational support to 7 direct reports. Ensuring teams are motivated and engaged to deliver excellent customer service. Setting and delivering the P&L budget. Working closely with the sales team in the development of new products and customer propositions. Contributing to the costing and pricing of customer bids and tender responses. Ensuring customer demand is correctly planned, resourced (people, materials, equipment and transport) and delivered to the required cost, quality and timeline. Ensuring all safety, risk and quality management systems are maintained and developed. Managing and improving all aspects of financial and operational performance through a suite of cost, quality and service delivery KPI’s. Experience of leading technical teams including engineering design, production and software support engaged in diverse bespoke electro-mechanical and embedded software solution activities. A proven background in developing operational processes, technologies and people. Experience managing budgets, P&L and Cash Management. We want you to be you!
