Overview
Registered Nurse role at NHS Tayside within the District Nursing Service in Angus. The post is based at Academy Medical Centre Forfar and will integrate with other locality teams within the North West Locality and Angus as required. The successful candidate will work flexibly to meet service needs, including rotation of day/evening shifts and base to ensure provision of service over the 24-hour period, 7 days per week.
The post holder should have good leadership qualities, a wide range of clinical knowledge and skills, and evidence of continuous professional development. Community experience would be an advantage. You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA of the UK NMC Register. A requirement of the post is the ability and willingness to travel across the Angus Health & Social Care Partnership geographical area.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care within the District Nursing Service in Angus, contributing to equitable, high-quality community health care. Demonstrate leadership, effective interpersonal and communication skills, and ongoing professional development. Be flexible to meet the needs of the service, including shift patterns across a 7-day, 24-hour period. Travel across the Angus area as required.
Requirements
* Registration on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA of the UK NMC Register
* Willingness and ability to travel across the Angus Health & Social Care Partnership
* Good leadership qualities and a broad range of clinical knowledge and skills with evidence of CPD
* Community experience is advantageous
