Location: Secondary School, Northamptonshire
Salary: MPS/UPS
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Teacher of Computer Science to join our forward-thinking Technology and Computing department. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of programming, data representation, algorithms, cybersecurity, and computer systems, and will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
You will play a key role in preparing students for a digital future by equipping them with the technical knowledge and problem-solving skills required in modern society. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in technology and a desire to inspire the next generation of digital innovators.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, challenging Computer Science lessons that promote curiosity and technical skill
Support students in preparing for GCSE and optional qualifications in computing
Stay current with developments in education technology and adapt your teaching accordingly
Create inclusive learning environments that support learners of all abilities
Participate in curriculum planning, coding clubs, and wider digital literacy initiatives
About You:
Degree in Computer Science, ICT or a related discipline
QTS and experience of teaching in a secondary school setting
A commitment to delivering an ambitious, relevant and inclusive curriculum
Strong organisational and communication skills
