HORIBA MIRA is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Defence Business Development & Sales in one or more of our key priority areas to compliment the existing team to drive growth in the defence and security sector. This senior leadership role will focus on developing high-value opportunities in one or more of the following areas:
* Counter-UAS and related technologies
* Mobility Engineering (integration, optimisation, V&V)
* Advanced Power Management
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and execution of a Defence sales and business development strategy
* Identify, cultivate, and secure large engineering and integration programmes
* Drive strategic deals including framework agreements, licensing, and joint ventures
* Build and maintain senior relationships within the Defence sector
Collaborate cross-functionally and with HORIBA Group to maximise growth opportunities
* Meet or exceed annual Order Intake and margin targets
What We're Looking For:
* Proven success in Defence sector business development and sales
* Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
* Exceptional communicator and relationship-builder
* Entrepreneurial mindset and results-driven approach
* Ability to lead complex sales cycles and build scalable propositions
Please note:
* Due to the sensitivities of this role; the successful applicant must be able to achieve Security Clearance at SC level (minimum footprint in the UK of 5 years).
* Full UK drivers licence is required
* UK Travel and some overseas travel maybe required
