Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Assistants to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality home care services while fostering a positive and supportive environment.
Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping.
* Develop and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
* Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
* Monitor client well-being and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as necessary.
Skills
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families.
* Experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Ability to implement care plans that meet individual client needs.
* A valid driving licence is required for transporting clients.
* Familiarity with care home environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Proficiency in IT to manage records and communicate effectively within the team.
