Supporting essential design and delivery reviews, identifying risks and issues, and working with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Carry out health and safety audits to ensure relevant issues are corrected.
- Focused on the construction phase of wastewater projects, assessing and reporting project progress, rectifying issues, and leading escalation processes if necessary. Ensure all non-conformances are identified and corrected.
- Manage, identify, and resolve snags; liaise with operators and contractors post-takeover to handle defects, the aftercare process, and performance testing.
- Monitor, agree on, and approve takeover tests with the project team.
- Ensure project documentation meets specifications and that takeover information is approved.
- Actively participate as a member of one or more project teams with contractors.
Qualifications and skills:
* HNC or higher in an engineering discipline or relevant background.
* Knowledge of health and safety on construction sites; SMSTS qualification can be provided if not held.
* Understanding of design, construction, and operations in wastewater or similar industries.
* Experience in project delivery and integration within construction.
* Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
