A Bit About The Job
As part of Aviva's Technical Claims team, we seek an experienced insurance professional with a proven track record in handling high-value and complex domestic claims.
We are an in-house claims team for a leading market field claims service, providing a bespoke, hands-on service, managing all aspects of a claim from start to finish.
Your responsibilities include delivering customer-focused, cost-effective service by handling household and residential commercial claims from instruction to resolution within financial limits. The role involves travel across the UK and flexible working hours, potentially including evenings and weekends.
Skills And Experience We're Looking For
* Experience managing complex home claims, with losses exceeding £100,000.
* Qualified at least to Cert CII, with aspirations for Dip CII; comparable CILA qualifications are accepted.
* Deep knowledge of technical insurance principles, with experience in subrogation, underwriting, and ABI report writing.
* Understanding of building practices and regulations related to property reinstatements and tendering processes.
* Proven track record of managing claims end-to-end with a focus on customer satisfaction.
