Job Type: Full-Time Days
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing care in accordance with current best practices, policies, and procedures.
Administer medications and treatments in line with professional guidelines and care home protocols.
Monitor and assess the health status of residents, updating care plans accordingly.
Support residents with daily activities and personal care where necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Supervise and mentor care assistants and other support staff.
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or clinical interventions as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and safeguarding standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Proven experience in elderly care or a similar setting preferred.
Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support elderly individuals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in dementia care, palliative care, or mental health nursing.
Familiarity with electronic care planning systems.
Up-to-date training in moving and handling, basic life support, and safeguarding. Benefits:
