TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic secondary school in Taunton, which is looking to appoint a General Cover Supervisor to join their team ASAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising lessons across the curriculum, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with their learning when teachers are absent.
This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful candidate will:
Have strong communication and organisational skills
Be confident managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Be adaptable, reliable, and able to cover a variety of subjects with provided lesson plans
Work well as part of a supportive and collaborative team
Ideally have experience working with secondary-age students (though this is not essential)
