Lancaster Medical School is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Classroom Assistant to support the running of the clinical skills, anatomy and simulation teaching facilities in the Health Innovation Building, Lancaster University. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person to join our team. You will work in a supporting role with classroom and administrative elements to support the day to day running of the facilities and teaching delivery. This will include set up and take down of teaching materials, maintenance, care and monitoring of anatomy models and teaching equipment and consumables. We also have a mobile simulation unit and areas of self-study that our medical students use.
The successful candidate will:
1. Have experience of Microsoft Office packages
2. Have excellent organisational skills
3. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and work flexibly.
4. Be a proven team player, committed to integrating into a busy teaching environment, working closely with a wide range of colleagues.
5. Ideally have previous experience in a higher education, NHS background or learning background.

The hours of the post will be based around preparation, take down and delivery of the teaching sessions and will be based on campus.
