This contract position is designed for the 2025-2026 school year and involves a part-time schedule of 30 hours per week, dedicated to supporting the communication needs of students.
Location:
Simi Valley, CA
Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs.
* Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech services.
* Provide direct therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals.
* Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by state regulations.
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Current California SLP Licensure.
* CCC-SLP (Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology).
* Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably in a school setting.
* Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation.
* Strong communication and collaborative skills.
