Role Overview: This is a fully remote role within an established, niche insurer, offering flexibility to work from home every day. You will be part of the 2nd line, partnering with 1st line operations across Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution to support risk management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide oversight and challenge on 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making, focusing on operational and conduct risks.
* Support the development and implementation of the company's risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and monitor risk appetite with stakeholders.
* Assist in preparing and delivering risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulators.
* Encourage continuous improvement and development of the risk culture within the business.
Candidate Profile:
* Experienced Risk professional from the Financial Services sector.
* Broad experience across multiple Risk disciplines, including Operational and Conduct Risk; Insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Skilled in developing risk assessments and executing RCSAs.
* Analytical mindset, curiosity, eagerness to learn, and excellent communication skills.
