Our client, based in Hampshire, is currently seeking Highways Project Managers on an initial 12 month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to impactful transportation projects, including active travel and Suds schemes in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Project support for numerous minor works programmes
Ability to manage projects up to the value of £3 million.
Working alongside senior Project Managers to ensure timely project execution
Monitoring project progress and updating project plans accordingly
Coordinating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment
Contributing to risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Maintaining project documentation and preparing progress reports
Facilitating meetings and communications between project teams and stakeholders
Job Requirements:
Experience in managing transportation or highway projects
Strong understanding of transport and highway industry standards and practices
Proficiency with project management tools and software
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to quickly adapt and pick up ongoing projects
Available for hybrid working, with the ability attend the office minimum 1 day per week
